BuzkashiBoys

Buzkashi Boys is a gripping, gritty film about two young boys growing up in Kabul, making their way in a  tough place, and confronting the dilemmas of growing up, having dreams and figuring out your place in  society.

This short 30 minute film captures these universal yet unique dilemmas beautifully. It also features  unusual and incredible footage of buzkashi, one of the region’s most unique games, a brutal mix of polo and rugby played with a dead goat (not a ball).  Worth watching; here’s a trailer.
