We are fast approaching Women’s Equality Day on August 26, the 92nd Anniversary of women’s right to vote in the United States. This remarkable day marks the culmination of years of struggle by women across America to exercise the fundamental democratic right to participate in decisions that are made by the people we elect to office. We often forget their struggle, their courage and their fierce determination to fight for, and even be jailed, for this important right. As we mark this day, here is a good list of books, movies and websites that paint the full picture.
