A BLOG POST BY BARONESS GOUDIE Last week I was asked to appear on the AMANPOUR CNN programme. I was honoured to be a guest of Christine Amanpour, a journalist I have huge admiration for and someone who is bringing global attention to important issues.
I highlighted the importance of women at the peace table, as well as the wider issues of getting more women into senior positions in business. I talked about the work I am doing with the 30% Club in the UK and how promoting gender equality in the boardroom will leader to better CSR policies that effect global education, food security and human trafficking policies; issues that women are often more pro-active in pursuing.
